We are seeking an enthusiastic and knowledgeable Robotics Coach to lead our middle school robotics team. The coach will guide students in developing skills in coding, engineering, problem-solving, teamwork, and creativity while preparing for local and regional robotics competitions.
Responsibilities- Plan and facilitate regular team practices and meetings.
- Teach and support students in robotics design, programming, and troubleshooting.
- Foster collaboration, teamwork, and problem-solving skills.
- Coordinate participation in competitions, including scheduling, registration, and supervision.
- Communicate with students, parents, and school administration regarding team progress and needs.
- Work with Business and Academic Office to secure additional funding to help grow the team through grant opportunities and/or possible fundraising.
- Experience in STEM education, robotics, engineering, or related fields (preferred but not required).
- Knowledge of FIRST Tech Challenge (FTC) preferred.
