Hahn is home to Davison's 5th and 6th grade students. Teachers at Hahn Intermediate teach on two-person teams. One teacher provides reading and writing instruction; the other provides math, science and social studies instruction. Teachers prepare students for the transition to Middle School.

• Must have one of the following endorsements: ZG (Elementary K-5 all subjects [K-8 All Subjects Self Contained Classroom]), ZP (Upper Elementary, 3-6 grade, Education), ZL (Middle Level Specialization), ZD (Middle School 5-9), or BQ (5-9 ELA)
• Must be certified to teach in the State of Michigan and possess the necessary educational background and certification for the position as determined by the district.

• Willing and able to deliver effective classroom instruction.
• Willing to collaborate with teaching partner and grade-level colleagues.
• Have a strong desire to work with elementary school aged students and their parents.
• Be willing to participate in a variety of extra-curricular and co-curricular activities including staff development and curriculum development.
• Be willing to work as part of a building team for the improvement of instruction.
• Be open to continuous change.
• Be an excellent communicator with students, parents, and colleagues.
• Demonstrate mental/physical ability and stamina for meeting the requirements of the position.
• The employee shall remain free of any alcohol or non-prescribed controlled substance in the workplace throughout his/her employment in the District.
• Maintain regular, reliable, and punctual attendance.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
