Qualifications:

• Preference will be given to those holding a teaching certificate
• The applicant must be able to demonstrate a history of positive working relationships with students and their families
• The applicant must be knowledgeable, organized, enthusiastic and willing to invest the necessary time in the program to bring about quality
• The applicant must have the necessary mental/physical ability and stamina to successfully perform assigned responsibilities
• The applicant must successfully complete a Live Scan Criminal Records check

Responsibilities:
These responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

• Coach the specific team
• Promote the program and recruit team members
• Train and monitor student academic progress and eligibility
• Supervise students, attend tournaments, and keep records (registration, attendance, schedules, etc.)
• Lead by example and exhibit professionalism at all times
• Be responsible for equipment and supplies for the specific program
• Maintain effective communication with parents and students
