Taylor Life Center (TLC) is hiring a full-time experienced and proactive Human Resource Specialist (HRS) to join our team and support a variety of HR functions. In this role, the HRS will assist the HR department to operate efficiently by offering support in some of the following areas: employee relations, benefits administration, onboarding, FMLA administration, Community Mental Health requirements, accreditation standards, and compliance with federal and state labor laws.

The ideal candidate is organized, able to function effectively in a high‑paced work environment, work independently, and passionate about supporting employees and fostering a positive workplace culture.

Qualification &

Education Requirements:
  • 18 years of age or older
  • Must have a valid Michigan driver’s license, current automobile insurance, and the use of the insured vehicle during work hours to travel between work locations.
  • Bachelor’s degree with a minimum of one year of experience in human resources.
  • Must have a working telephone.
  • Must maintain required trainings and/or requirements, which includes, but is not limited to:
    • All CMH required trainings, initially and annually.
    • Recipient Rights and confidentiality trainings/standards.
    • TLC policies, procedures, work rules, ethical standards, and accreditation standards.
  • Ability to meet deadlines and work under pressure.
