JOB DESCRIPTION

Job Impulse, Inc. has an immediate opening for a Plastic Injection Molding Maintenance Technician in Flint MI. Our client is a plastic injection manufacturing facility. The Maintenance Technician is responsible for all preventative, troubleshooting, and repairing of Injection Molding Machines.

Responsibilities of a Maintenance Technician includes:

• Prioritize maintenance work backlog to maximize plant utilization.
• Analyze electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, and operational problems of plastic injection molding machines.
• Plan for and take corrective action as needed.
• Maintain maximum production and quality by making correct adjustments.
• Review production schedule and make equipment changes as needed.
• Troubleshoot and test equipment to check operations.
• Perform scheduled maintenance.
• Make preventative maintenance checks and inspection of assigned equipment.
• Repair and diagnose problems with support equipment such as thermolators, chillers, air compressors, cooling towers, etc.

Job Requirements of a Maintenance Technician:

• 6-15 years’ experience with plastic injection mold machine maintenance preferred.

REQUIRED Experience and Education:

• High school Diploma or Equivalent
