The Licensed APP thrives in a fast‑paced, team oriented environment with professionals in pain management. The Nurse Practitioner / Physician Assistant will be responsible for caring for patients, maintaining accurate and current patient records, and administering follow‑up appointments to patients.

• Interview and examine patients to determine a diagnosis.
• Performing physical exams and patient observations.
• Consulting with healthcare professionals and families.
• Order tests to ascertain the nature and extent of illnesses and injuries.
• Administer and analyze diagnostic tests.
• Diagnosing health issues.
• Recommending medicine and other treatments.
• Prescribe medications and suggest lifestyle changes to remedy medical problems.
• Recording patients' medical histories and symptoms.
• Maintain patient records and provide documentation for insurance companies.
• Creating patient care plans and contributing to existing ones.
• Detecting changes in patients' health and modifying treatment plans, as needed.
• Training patients and their families to manage and prevent illness and injury.

• Master’s degree from an accredited nursing or physicians assistant program.
• Previous experience within Pain, Orthopedics, Neurology, or Neurosurgery field or related work environment is preferred.
• Appropriate healthcare and professional licensure in the state where employed or a compact party state and board-certified.
• APN authorization in the state where employed to practice in family health by the Board of Nurse Examiners.
• Prescriptive authorization.
• Knowledge of computer-based data management programs and information systems, as well as medical records and point‑of‑interview technology.
• A sound understanding of all pertinent federal and state regulations, including HIPAA and OSHA.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Able to work in a fast‑paced and stressful environment while maintaining positive energy.
• Willingness to participate in goal‑setting and educational activities for professional advancement.
• Able to work compassionately with patients and coworkers to exhibit patient care second to none.
