• Be a Team Member:
  Maintain up-to-date knowledge of the products; collaborate with cross-functional teams; educate other associates on tools, tasks, and resources; communicate effectively; develop interpersonal skills for providing customer service; be flexible to the needs of the business to work in other areas, track goods, maintain in-stock levels, and control shrinkage in a timely manner.
• Be an Expert:
  Understand processes and specifications related to quality of various types of produce merchandise (taste, preparation method or use, seasonality); prepare products according to established standards; maintain product safety and follow sanitation guidelines; adhere to applicable laws, regulations, and company policies related to produce quality.
• Be a Techie:
  Leverage digital tools to drive sales, improve the shopping experience, and elevate associate engagement; use handheld technology to make immediate business decisions related to production, training, and product quality with the member in mind; adapt to new tools and encourage others to use them.
• Be an Owner:
  Drive the performance of the area; utilize digital tools; stock and rotate department products using perpetual inventory management techniques; ensure quality and date control standards; eliminate waste; assist customers according to company policies and procedures.
• Be a Talent Ambassador:
  Value the member's experience in the department; model high quality service and products; exhibit energy, commitment, and passion for the work.
• Comply with company policies, procedures, and standards of ethics and integrity; implement related action plans; utilize the Open Door Policy in executing business processes.
• Complete work assignments and priorities by using policies, data, and resources; collaborate with managers, co-workers, customers, and other partners; identify priorities and deadlines; communicate progress and information; identify improvement opportunities and adapt to change and feedback.

The hourly wage range for this position is $16.00 to $23.00. The actual hourly rate will equal or exceed the minimum wage applicable to the job location. Additional compensation in the form of premiums may apply in specific circumstances. Premiums may be based on schedule, facility, season, or work performed.
