Product Demonstrator Part Time - 8291 at Acosta Group
Base pay: $15.00/hr
OverviewThe Associate is responsible for completing in‑store food and non‑food demonstrations. They acquire and maintain knowledge of products, prepare, serve, and break down product, equipment, and supplies, intercept consumers, and demonstrate products in a professional manner. They maintain a professional appearance consistent with job requirements.
Responsibilities- Possesses aptitude and ability to gain adequate knowledge of the products represented
- Has desire and ability to proactively intercept, engage, interact, and sell product to the consumer in a positive manner
- Effectively communicates the features and benefits of the product
- Prepare and serve food samples using small appliances such as microwaves, fryers, skillets, coffee makers, and knives
- Maintain a clean, sterile, and safe workstation using cleaning chemicals
- Maintain a professional appearance consistent with job requirements
- Properly set up and prepare Event Table for execution
- Achieve 100% execution on assigned work
- Assist with preparation for client visits and complete audit corrections
- Build and maintain rapport with store personnel to effectively meet company and client objectives
- Complete expense reports as per Company Policy
- Accurately prepare and submit all online requirements on the same day as Event execution
- Access the internet, navigate through the company's electronic systems, use Microsoft Outlook, and view assigned documents, including Microsoft Word & Adobe PDF forms
- High school diploma or GED; one to three months related experience and/or training preferred; or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Proficient in using personal computer or mobile device to navigate applications and internal systems
- Local Food Handlers permit may be required
- Physical demands: stand, walk, use hands and fingers, reach, talk, hear, read, stoop, kneel, squat, climb or step up ladder, balance, lift/carry up to 25 pounds (occasionally up to 50 pounds), push/pull a wheeled cart fully laden, prepare foods and beverages using required appliances, be in contact with cleaning supplies
- Language:
English primary; bilingual may be required
This role is not expected to exceed more than 25 hours per week, although the company may change the role based on needs.
