VENTEON is hiring an INDUSTRIAL SALES ENGINEER to support a leading Equipment and Automation company in the Flint, MI Area.
Use your expertise to sell Custom Machinery, Tooling, Assembly and Robotic Systems with confidence knowing each product will be delivered on time with exceptional quality. Products and services are delivered around the world, and the sky is the limit for income potential!
This is a full-time, direct hire position with travel expected up to 70%. The salary is open based on your background and selling track record. Let's discuss what motivates you!
Requirements of the Industrial Machine Sales Engineer:
- Bachelor's degree in engineering, business, marketing is highly desirable. Willing to also consider non-degreed individuals with ten or more years of directly related experience.
- Preferred candidates have a combination of engineering and sales experience in Industrial Machines and Automation and are able to discuss and sell complex technical manufacturing solutions.
- Proven history of effective selling, achieving sales targets, and achieving company growth.
- Excellent presentation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Problem solving capability in managing the challenging aspects in the position.
- Ability to travel as needed to customer and supplier sites.
Duties of the Industrial Machine Sales Engineer:
- Develop sales strategies, perform market analysis, aggressively seek out and find new customer sales leads through cold calling, internet research, email campaigns, networking events, client referrals, etc. Manage the sales process from lead generation to closing deals.
- Create relationships with new customers and develop technical solutions that meet their needs.
- Develop and deliver presentations, proposals, and quotations.
- Negotiate pricing, timelines, and close sales.
- Work closely with internal teams to ensure equipment and projects are delivered on time and within budget. Act as a liaison with the customer during the process to address any challenges or concerns.
- Prepare sales reports and forecasts for management review, track performance metrics, and identify areas for improvement.
