Sales Representative, Inside Sales
Overview
The Macomb Group is a recognized leading distributor in the Midwest for Pipe, Valve, and Fittings. We are looking for a full-time inside sales representative with mechanical and industrial piping experience to prepare quotations and handle inside and counter sales responsibilities at our Midland, Michigan location.
Responsibilities- Answering phones
- Taking orders from customers over the phone
- Providing status of previous orders
- Preparing quotations and bids
- Computer entry
- Purchasing of non-stock items and backorders
- Coordination of sales orders
- Provide professional customer service to customers
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- One or two years of related experience and/or training or equivalent combination of both is preferred
- Demonstrate trade experience and knowledge of mechanical and industrial piping applications
- Able to project professionalism in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent communication, organizational, and computer skills
- Motivated team player who takes initiative
Monday - Friday, day shift
