Goodwill Industries of Mid-Michigan is seeking a full-time Career Coach position at our location on Averill Ave. in Flint.
$17.13an hourplus

Essential duties and responsibilities:- Assist individuals with workplace skills development
- Support and assistthe development and promotion of each individual’s goals.
- Coordinate tasks/jobs within Goodwill locations and/or community sites.
- Assist individuals in developing their micro-enterprise business.
- Ensure supplies are properly secured for each job.
- Coach and promote personal growth for each individual to reach quality standards.
- High school diploma required with a preference toward those with an Associate’s Degree.
- At least one year of experience working with people who have disabilities.
- Previous production and/or training experience of at least two years highly desirable.
- Must have computer skills and be able to type a minimum of 30 words per minute.
- Experience in small business community preferred.
- Graphic Design experience is a plus but not required.
Qualifications:
- Ability to function as a job coach for people with disabilities.
- Dependable, tact, resourcefulness, initiative, and good judgment.
- Must have reliable transportation, a valid driver’s license, a safe driving record and maintain car insurance.
- May require lifting up to 25 pounds.
- Requires standing and/or walking for periods of time.
- 10 paid holidays, plus
