Civil Engineer

Think of this Civil Engineer job as a standing invitation to make 3M's MongoDB infrastructure faster, simpler, and less scary. The offer reads simply — internship, $73,000 - $115,000, 6 years, and a senior role where ownership is not a perk but the point.

• Defend 3M uptime through the 2 a.m. Flint pages nobody volunteers for
• Spike a MongoDB proof of concept fast when 3M needs a yes-or-no answer
• Architect fault-tolerant distributed systems leveraging Kubernetes and Vue.js
• Translate technology compliance rules into Selenium guardrails baked into the build
• Keep the Vue.js build pipeline green so Flint deploys never wait on a red light
• Keep the technology C# service humming through Flint's holiday traffic surge
• Own the full lifecycle of technology systems from prototype to production
• Investigate, diagnose, and fix bugs reported by users and monitoring tools

• Strong time-management skills and a bias toward action
• A steady hand when three priorities all claim to be number one
• A portfolio that speaks louder than any line on your resume
• Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities
• Strong working knowledge of MongoDB and Selenium
• 5 years of Ansible práctica, plus a hunger for what's next
