The Elementary Volleyball Coach/Coordinator will lead and oversee all aspects of the 4th–6th grade volleyball program participating in the winter league. Responsibilities include planning and executing practices, providing fundamental volleyball instruction, supervising participants, communicating with families, coordinating event logistics, and representing Dryden Community Schools at league events.

• Pre-season (first week): 3 practices
• In-season: Approximately 2-3 practices per week (at coach’s discretion)
• Competition: Participation in 3–4 Saturday tournaments as scheduled by the winter league
• Additional time: As needed for communication, equipment management, and coordination with the Athletic Department.

To recognize the time commitment and responsibilities associated with this role, it is proposed that the Elementary Volleyball Coach/Coordinator be compensated $500 for the winter season.

In the event that registration numbers create more than one team at any grade span, an additional coaching/coordinator position may be added at the discretion of the administration. Duties and compensation for this secondary position would mirror those outlined above.

This compensation acknowledges the effort required to plan and lead practices, supervise developing athletes, and support weekend tournament play. The unpaid position also helps ensure consistency, accountability, and program quality while fostering early interest in Dryden athletics.

Approval of the proposed compensation structure will support the sustainable growth of our elementary athletic programming and provide a positive introductory experience for future Dryden student-athletes.
