Required Qualifications:
- Successful coaching experience, preferably at the high school level.
- Alternate qualifications may be considered.
- Meet requirements for a background check and fingerprinting.
Job Requirements , Knowledge, and
Skills:
- Background that includes a high level of Basketball knowledge.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Knowledge of best practices in coaching.
- Experience working as part of a collaborative team.
- Relate to and instruct student athletes in large groups, small groups, and individualized settings.
- Develop and use strategies to improve individual and team play.
- Ability to work cooperatively with administration and staff.
- Ability to encourage student participation in basketball.
- Possess strong organizational, motivational, discipline, and fundamental teaching skills.
- Work with other coaches by supporting and encouraging students to participate in other sports.
- Able to communicate with players, parents, and other coaches.
- Work collaboratively with colleagues to ensure student success and a positive school climate.
The season begins on November 19 th .
