Somatic Massage Therapy & Spa is seeking a warm, dependable and highly organized Guest Relations & Front Desk Associate to join our established wellness team in Floral Park, NY.

This position is ideal for someone who enjoys helping people, communicates professionally and understands the importance of creating an excellent client experience from the first phone call through checkout.

• Welcome clients warmly and create a professional, relaxing first impression
• Answer incoming phone calls, text messages and general client inquiries
• Schedule, confirm, reschedule and manage appointments accurately
• Assist clients with service selection, memberships, gift cards, rewards and booking questions
• Check clients in and out and process payments correctly
• Maintain accurate client profiles, appointment notes and contact information
• Communicate schedule changes and important updates to therapists and staff
• Help manage therapist schedules and support smooth daily spa operations
• Explain spa policies clearly and professionally
• Assist with retail product recommendations and basic front-desk sales
• Maintain the cleanliness and presentation of the reception and waiting areas
• Protect client privacy and handle confidential information appropriately
• Follow all established front-desk, safety and customer-service procedures
• Help resolve routine client concerns calmly and professionally
• Support a welcoming, organized and team-focused workplace

• Strong customer-service and communication skills
• Friendly, professional and confident speaking with clients
• Reliable, punctual and highly organized
• Comfortable answering phones, responding to text messages and managing multiple tasks
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy
• Comfortable using computers, scheduling software and point-of-sale systems
• Able to work independently and as part of a team
• Experience in a spa, salon, wellness, hospitality, medical office or customer-service environment is a plus
• Familiarity with Mindbody or similar booking software is a plus
• Evening and Saturday availability is strongly preferred

Somatic Massage Therapy & Spa is an established massage therapy, skincare and wellness practice serving Floral Park, Queens and Nassau County for more than 15 years. Our services include therapeutic massage, couples massage, clinical massage, lymphatic treatments, facials, body treatments, memberships, gift cards and wellness programs.
