As a second-year Student Respiratory at North Alabama Medical Center, you will work on a PRN (as-needed) basis supporting the respiratory care team. Under the supervision of licensed respiratory therapists, you will assist with patient assessments, treatments, and therapeutic procedures, including oxygen therapy and airway management. This role provides valuable clinical experience, helping you apply classroom knowledge, develop critical skills, and prepare for licensure.

• Current Student in 2nd year of an accredited Respiratory program

Recognized as a Primary Stroke Center and a Certified Chest Pain Center, our 24-hour emergency department serves as the primary trauma referral center for Northwest Alabama.
