Surgical Services at North Alabama Medical Center consists of 15 surgical suites, 6 Endoscopy Rooms, and 30 same day surgery rooms. Our surgical team includes surgeons, anesthesiologists, nurses, surgical technologists, certified nurse anesthetists, and other highly trained professionals.

How You'll ContributeYou will make an impact by utilizing your specialized plan-of-care interventions and serving as a patient-care innovator. You will shape exceptional patient journeys every day and leverage our cutting‑edge technology to directly impact patient wellbeing.
Qualifications and Requirements- Current state RN license
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required within 30 days of hire
- BLS and ACLS certifications required within six months of hire
- One year of experience preferred
- Responsible and accountable for providing and coordinating patient care
- Identify and address patient’s needs and priorities through assessment, planning and collaboration with other health care providers
- Execute physician orders and supervise the implementation of nursing interventions
- Advocate for the patient, representing the patient’s interests when illness prevents the patient from expressing their own feelings or thoughts
- Responsible for outcomes of clinical results, patient satisfaction, and acceptable cost
