Job Type: RN Medsurg Days 7:00am-7:00pm

Surgical Services at North Alabama Medical Center includes 15 surgical suites, 6 Endoscopy Rooms, 6 private Pre‑Admission Testing rooms, and 30 same‑day surgery rooms. Our team of surgeons, anesthesiologists, nurses, and other professionals provides pre‑op to discharge care.

You will use your specialized plan‑of‑care intervention and serve as a patient‑care innovator, shaping exceptional patient journeys with cutting‑edge technology.

• Current state RN license
• Basic Life Support certification required within 30 days of hire
• BLS and ACLS required within six months of hire
• One year of experience preferred

• Will be responsible for providing and coordinating patient care.
• Identify and address patient needs and priorities through assessment, planning and collaboration with other health care providers.
• Execute physician orders and supervise the implementation of nursing interventions.
• Advocate for the patient, representing patient interests when illness prevents expression of feelings or thoughts.
• Be responsible for clinical outcomes, patient satisfaction, and acceptable cost.
