Location: UNA - Towers Dining Hall

• Position: Full-time DISHWASHER positions (hiring immediately)
• Address: One Harrison Plaza 126 Bibb Gr, Florence, AL 35632 – online applications accepted only.
• Schedule: Full-time schedule with varying days and hours; details provided during interview.
• Requirement: Food service experience preferred.
• Pay Range: $10.00–$12.00 per hour.

Job Summary

Maintains dishes, pots, pans, trays, kitchen work areas, equipment and utensils in orderly and sanitary condition.

• Scrape and rinse food from dirty dishes, wash them by hand or load them into racks or conveyor for dishwashing machine, ensuring complete cleanliness and sanitation.
• Wash pots, pans and trays according to assigned procedures, ensuring complete cleanliness and sanitation.
• Polish silver using burnishing machine, tumbler, chemical dip, buffing wheel, or hand cloth depending on equipment and procedures, ensuring complete cleanliness and sanitation.
• Ensure compliance with outlined safety procedures.
• Maintain temperatures and chemical levels as outlined by provided standards.
• Keep dish area orderly and in compliance with safety standards.
• Sweep and mop kitchen floors to meet safety and sanitation standards.
• Wash worktables, walls, refrigerators, meat blocks and other food prep surfaces.
• Remove trash and dispose it in designated containers; steam clean or hose out garbage cans.
• Transfer supplies and equipment between storage and work areas.
• Help load and unload supplies and products.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
