Base pay range: $16.00/hr - $23.00/hr
The member assistant – cart attendant helps shape the member’s shopping experience by providing a positive first and last impression, keeping a well-kept parking lot, helping members with purchases, and ensuring carts are available. You may assist members in loading their vehicles and support creating a great member experience. This role requires being on your feet and on the go in all weather conditions.
Responsibilities- Maintain a positive attitude by smiling, greeting, and thanking members
- Provide exceptional customer service across the club and answer member questions
- Maintain a clean, neat, and member-ready area
- Assist members with transporting items and ensuring availability of carts/flatbeds
- Help members with purchases, including loading and unloading as needed
- Follow company policies and procedures for safety and service
- Assist with cart retrieval and parking lot cleanliness
- Support safety and security by reporting unsafe conditions
Ensures club pickup orders are fulfilled by notifying members about delays or unavailability, offering alternatives, and preparing items for pickup; resolves member issues and promotes company products and services.
Maintains facility safety by conducting safety checks, handling merchandise per policy, and reporting hazards to management.
Processes member purchases and assists with payments according to company policies for different memberships and payment types; uses cash registers; locates and organizes merchandise; zones designated areas; maintains cart availability; and assists with transportation of items.
Adheres to company policies, procedures, and ethics; participates in open communications and aligns with business processes and practices.
Completes work by prioritizing tasks, collaborating with managers and coworkers, meeting deadlines, and adapting to feedback and change.
