Direct Sales Agent Specialist (2587) – Florence, AL
Job DescriptionThe Direct Sales Agent Specialist drives profitable growth by selling new business, understanding customers’ needs, building rapport and trust, and building and retaining their book of business within the market/ retail location. The role is On‑Site at the Florence, AL location and sells to walk‑in customers, markets products outside of the office via marketing calls and in‑person visits, and assists customers in the office.

Additional Qualifications and Responsibilities- Minimum Qualifications:
- 0–2 years of experience
- P&C licensing (Preferred) or must attain required licensure within 90 days of joining the company.
- Preferred Skills and
Competencies:- Successfully closes sales of insurance and ancillary products.
- Meets and exceeds sales goals through new product sales, cross‑sell / retention of customers.
- Leverages community contacts to continually build a sales pipeline and maintain an active physical presence.
- Initiates outbound calling to established target customer base for product offerings.
- Monitors key competitors and suggests initiatives to improve market position.
- Works with Direct Sales Leadership to plan, implement, and manage marketing and sales processes.
- Delivers optimal results within appropriate metrics: quality, quantity, timeliness, productivity, customer satisfaction, and financial performance; compliance with all rules and procedures.
- Understands and promotes company underwriting guidelines and updates.
- Receives customer payments, issues receipts, and verifies reports of receipts for cash drawers.
Base compensation: $20.00 per hour. Total compensation may include incentive pay such as commissions and bonuses based on individual and team performance.
