Position: Environmental Health & Safety Advisor - Environmental (M/F/D)
Overview  Experteer Overview In this role, you will govern the HSE Management System to ensure environmental compliance and drive improvements. You will lead audits, remediation projects, and sustainability reporting across global sites. You will guide permitting, regulatory interactions, and energy and water assessments, while coordinating with external bodies. This position offers a chance to shape environmental performance in a multinational energy contractor with a strong safety culture and global reach.
Responsibilities   Govern HSE Management System ensuring ISO 14001/45001 compliance
Conduct internal and external HSE audits
Manage remediation projects
Perform Waste Vendor Management audits and maintain waste audit database
Support sustainability reporting, projects and drive improvements
Review and analyze water and waste data for sustainability reporting
Identify opportunities to reduce water use, waste, and increase recycling
Provide guidance on Energy and Water Assessments
Consult on permitting, reporting, and regulatory interactions
Lead environmental-related concerns and coordinate with external bodies
Qualifications   10 years of progressive HSE experience or equivalent leadership across global, multi-site operations (energy/oil & gas or heavy industry preferred)
Remediation projects experience preferred
Knowledge of local and international environmental laws, regulations and standards; ability to read regulations
Excellent written and verbal communication; proven project management track record
Knowledge of ISO 14001 and ISO 45001; internal auditor qualification preferred
Strong leadership, problem-solving and interpersonal skills
Ability to provide environmental training
Strong cross-cultural communication; fluency in Italian and English; additional languages advantageous
Willingness to travel internationally
