Our client, a leader in innovative manufacturing solutions, is seeking a Site Engineer-Automation to join their team. As a Site Engineer, you will be part of the Manufacturing Operations supporting automation and robotics deployment. The ideal candidate will have strong problem-solving skills, excellent communication, and a proactive approach, which will align successfully in the organization.
Job Title:
Site Engineer
- Automation
12-hour shifts (6pm-6am) | One Week (3days, 4days off), the next week (4days, 3days off)
Location:
Florence, Kentucky (Hybrid)
Pay Range:$90000 - $110000
What's the Job?- Own the performance and reliability of robotic assembly systems deployed at a major customer site
- Act as the primary technical interface between the customer, manufacturing partners, field teams, and remote experts
- Use diagnostic tools, live data, and troubleshooting skills to resolve hardware and software issues
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives to maximize system uptime and efficiency
- Support a 24/7 manufacturing environment with scheduled overnight and weekend shifts, including on-call responsibilities
- Experience in automation and robotics environments
- Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering (Associate Degree with equivalent experience considered)
- Knowledge of PLC programming, recipe debugging, and vision systems for inspection
- Understanding of electro-mechanical systems and ability to interpret electrical and mechanical drawings
- Strong troubleshooting skills and customer service orientation
