The Student Nurse provides direct and indirect patient care activities under the direction of a RN or LPN.
* Assists patients with activities of daily living.
* Provides for personal care & comfort.
* Assists in the maintenance of a safe and clean environment for an assigned group of patients.
** Qualifications
* *** Education, Credentials, Licenses:
*** High School diploma or GED
* Currently enrolled in good standing at an accredited nursing program
* Successful completion of first clinical rotation in an accredited nursing program
* Not listed on Kentucky or Indiana Abuse Registry
** Specialized Knowledge:
*** Basic math skills
* Basic computer knowledge
* Effective verbal and written communication skills
