• Complete New Employee Orientation within 60 days from date of hire.
• Works assigned schedule directed by the consumer.
• Demonstrates strong time management skills and is on time for scheduled work appointments
• Adheres to the Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA) privacy policies and procedures. Maintain confidentiality of all information pertaining to clients, families and employees.
• Follows standards for health and safety according to the Ascentria “Consumer Site and Home Safety Checklist”.
• Works within the approved hours without overages.
• Demonstrates and utilizes proper use of phone-in timecard system.
• Communicates with supervisor in a timely manner (within 24 hours) regarding both consumer and administrative issues.
• Attends scheduled meetings with Regional Care Coordinator.
• Completes all required trainings by deadlines with minimal supervision.
• Attends annual In-Home Care Appreciation Event.
• Demonstrated ability to deal with conflict and/or difficult situations by executing proper interpersonal skills and de-escalation techniques.
• Demonstrates on a daily basis a full understanding of Ascentria’s Ethic’s Statement
• Demonstrates clear understanding of professional boundaries at all times according to Ascentria training.
