General
Purpose:
Makesand serves guests delicious beveragesin accordance withestablishedstandards and with hospitality and professionalism.
Creates memorable dining experiences through personalized and genuine interactions.
- Stocks bar, mixes and serves alcoholic beverages,assistsin cost control, inventory andmaintainsinventory records.
- Assistsdepartment leaders with creation of seasonal cocktails and development of menu
- Assistsdepartment leaders with Social Media schedule and creation of content
- Maintains inventory control through conscientious use and careful monitoring of all food and beverage products. Communicates with management in a timely mannerwhen supplies are needed.
- Ensure compliance with applicable state liquor laws and standard operating procedures provided by the management.
- Communicates guest requests and concerns to the Department Manager.
- Performs opening and closing duties which include, but are not limitedtoinventory, cash control, cleaning, and restocking.
- Accountable for checks and cash transactions. Utilizes Point of Sales System.
- Reviews banquet schedule for changes, calendar of events, and special events.
- Serve catered parties from service or portable bars.
- Onoccasionwillservemeals to guests.
- Incorporates safe work practices in job performance.
- Regular and reliable attendance.
- Performs other duties as required.
High school diploma or general education degree (GED); and one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Preferred Requirements:Experience in restaurant point-of-sale (POS) systems (e.g.POSITOUCH and MICROS)
Physical Demands:Frequently stands, walks, talks, hears, and uses hands. Regularly reaches with hands and arms. Occasionally climbs, balances, stoops, kneels, crawls, crouches; tastes, smells andsits.
Frequentlylifts upto 25 pounds.
Occasionally maylift upto 50 pounds.
Serv Safe Certified (Food & Alcohol) or TIPS equivalent.
Job Knowledge, Skill, and Ability Preferences:- Knowledge of wine, spirits, beer and current trends in industry and marketplace
- Possesses the knowledge of cocktail recipes
- Professional and courteous demeanor
- Demonstrate a strong commitment to company values
- Exceptional personal hygiene and positive representation of the organization to Troon employees,client sand vendors
- Fluent in English speaking,writing and understanding
- Must meet state age requirements for handling alcoholic beverages
