Bartender

General

Purpose:

Makesand serves guests delicious beveragesin accordance withestablishedstandards and with hospitality and professionalism.

Creates memorable dining experiences through personalized and genuine interactions.

• Stocks bar, mixes and serves alcoholic beverages,assistsin cost control, inventory andmaintainsinventory records.
• Assistsdepartment leaders with creation of seasonal cocktails and development of menu
• Assistsdepartment leaders with Social Media schedule and creation of content
• Maintains inventory control through conscientious use and careful monitoring of all food and beverage products. Communicates with management in a timely mannerwhen supplies are needed.
• Ensure compliance with applicable state liquor laws and standard operating procedures provided by the management.
• Communicates guest requests and concerns to the Department Manager.
• Performs opening and closing duties which include, but are not limitedtoinventory, cash control, cleaning, and restocking.
• Accountable for checks and cash transactions. Utilizes Point of Sales System.
• Reviews banquet schedule for changes, calendar of events, and special events.
• Serve catered parties from service or portable bars.
• Onoccasionwillservemeals to guests.
• Incorporates safe work practices in job performance.
• Regular and reliable attendance.
• Performs other duties as required.

High school diploma or general education degree (GED); and one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Experience in restaurant point-of-sale (POS) systems (e.g.POSITOUCH and MICROS)

Frequently stands, walks, talks, hears, and uses hands. Regularly reaches with hands and arms. Occasionally climbs, balances, stoops, kneels, crawls, crouches; tastes, smells andsits.

Frequentlylifts upto 25 pounds.

Occasionally maylift upto 50 pounds.

Serv Safe Certified  (Food & Alcohol) or TIPS equivalent.

• Knowledge of wine, spirits, beer and current trends in industry and marketplace
• Possesses the knowledge of cocktail recipes
• Professional and courteous demeanor
• Demonstrate a strong commitment to company values
• Exceptional personal hygiene and positive representation of the organization to Troon employees,client sand vendors
• Fluent in English speaking,writing and understanding
• Must meet state age requirements for handling alcoholic beverages
