Base Pay Range

$17.00/hr - $20.00/hr

Responsibilities
  • Open and close store in absence of store management, including system startups, cash handling, preparing floor and stock room, and opening the back door for deliveries.
  • Complete product returns, order voids, customer refunds, cash drops to safe, and provide change as requested.
  • Model and deliver a distinctive and delightful customer experience.
  • Engage customers and patients by greeting them, offering assistance, and resolving issues to ensure a positive experience.
  • Deliver Walgreens service traits, proactively offering help, identifying needs, and servicing until satisfied.
  • Hold store keys and assist or coach team members with warehouse and vendor ordering process, including opening the back door for deliveries.
  • Register all related sales, recording scanning errors, price verifications, items not on file, price modifications, and voids.
  • Assist manager or assistant manager with order exceptions, reverse logistics (returns, empty packages), and evaluating/displaying promotional merchandise.
  • Maintain accurate inventory counts in basic departments, stockroom, and overstock areas.
  • Ensure the Outdate program is followed with team members.
  • Manage basic department pricing, daily price changes, appropriate signage, and compliance with local regulations.
  • Assist with bookkeeping activities: cash reports, cash counts, ledgers, and bill payments.
  • Support exterior and interior maintenance by keeping the store clean, neat, orderly, and requesting repairs as needed.
  • Assist with separation and placement of food items, ensuring food rotation (first in, first out) and correct storage.
  • Have working knowledge of store systems and equipment.
  • Assist at the pharmacy out window as requested.
  • Ensure compliance with state and local laws regarding regulated products.
  • Conduct bag checks of team members before leaving the store.
  • Comply with company policies, maintain respectful relationships with coworkers.
  • Complete special assignments and other tasks as assigned.
Training & Personal Development
  • Attend training and complete required PPLs requested by Manager.
Communications
  • Serve as a liaison between management and non‑management team members by communicating assigned tasks when management is absent.
  • Report disciplinary issues and customer complaints to management.
Basic Qualifications
  • One year of prior leadership, supervisory, or retail key holder work experience.
  • Fluent in reading, writing, and speaking English (except in Puerto Rico).
Preferred Qualifications
  • Knowledge of store inventory control.
  • Consideration of qualified applicants with arrest and conviction records.
  • Obtain and maintain valid PTCB certification or pharmacy license as required by state.
