- Under the supervision of an Occupational Therapist, follow all state laws governing occupational therapy in home care.
- Follow the treatment plan set by the Occupational Therapist and perform only those procedures for which the COTA is qualified and trained.
- Make recommendations for changes in the plan of care to the supervising Occupational Therapist.

- Associate’s Degree from an accredited program.
- Occupational Therapy Assistant Certification/License.
- Adaptability, compassion, detail‑oriented, friendly, and courteous.
- Moderate physical strength required; ability to kneel, stoop, and stand for long periods of time.
