- Performs professional duties in the maintenance of accounting records and the verification and documentation of financial transactions.
- Responsible for collaborating with Supply Manager to ensure proper tagging, organization, tracking and screening/disposal/transfers of all inventory.
- Responsible for maintaining accurate records in Banner and reconciling financial reports related to fixed assets.
- Comply with state guidelines and assist Supply Manager in completing required documentation and scheduling visits for disposal of inventory.
- Cross-train on other finance office procedures as assigned.
- A bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, business or related field and professional experience directly related, such as accounting, procurement, and/or capital asset accounting.
- Must have (2) years accounting experience with knowledge of state and federal governmental fiscal and accounting processes.
