• High school diploma or GED equivalent supplemented by six (6) months to one (1) year of experience as a leisure service instructor

• Must possess a South Carolina Class “C” Commercial Driver’s License or ability to obtain one within six (6) months from initial date of employment

The Program Specialist assists with the coordination, implementation, and supervision of recreational activities and events. Must be able to maintain records, conduct light housekeeping, utilize computer skills, and operate vehicles and equipment safely. Must be able to assist with the supervision of part-time recreation staff and volunteers. Must be available to work days and some evenings and weekends. Schedule may vary depending on Daylight Saving Time adjustments.
