Join a team that is changing what’s possible. MUSC Florence, in affiliation with MUSC’s Department of Psychiatry and Behavioral Sciences, is actively recruiting an Adult Psychiatrist to provide services at our Leatherman Behavioral Care Pavilion located in Florence, SC.

We are seeking candidates with:

• Motivation and desire to work with an excellent multidisciplinary psychiatric care team
• Training in an accredited Psychiatry Program
• Board Certification/Board Eligibility in Psychiatry

Our Opportunity:

• Monday to Friday, 8 am - 5 pm
• 40% Inpatient; 40% Outpatient; 20% EmPATH
• Duties include hospital rounding, outpatient services, and EmPATH
• Additional compensation for on-call responsibilities at 1:3 or 1:4, with the eventual goal of minimum 1:4 call

The selected candidate will be connected to MUSC’s Department of Psychiatry and Behavioral Health Sciences in Charleston via an affiliate faculty appointment. They will have access to division resources (including weekly grand rounds) and clinical support from the Charleston team. The Leatherman Behavioral Care Pavilion is a 63-bed behavioral health hospital, including 51 adult inpatient beds, 12 adolescent inpatient beds, 16 adult EmPATH bays, 4 adolescent EmPATH bays, and outpatient services.
