Job DescriptionThe EKG technician assumes responsibility and accountability for performing electrocardiograms on customers ranging in age from infant to the aged. The EKG technician is also responsible for assisting with performing stress tests, processing EKGs and identifying heart arrhythmias to report to the cardiologist. Performs other related duties incidental to the work described within.
Education- High school diploma or GED is required.
- Graduate of an EKG program.
- Previous EKG experience is desired but not required.
- Must possess communication/writing/interpersonal skills.
- Current CPR certification or obtained during the first week of employment.
- EKG Certification required.
