We are looking for a dedicated candidate to join our team as a Cognitive Behavioral Specialist (CBS) to service our patients in the Pee Dee area. CBS should ensure a holistic approach by coordinating behavioral interventions with medical treatment, supporting caregivers, and helping patients achieve improved quality of life. This candidate should have a background addressing the behavioral and emotional needs of patients living with anxiety, depression, and cognitive decline—including dementia and mild cognitive impairment.
Responsibilities- Perform visits in facilities (ALFs and ILFs) in their designated service area.

Your Health is currently looking for a Cognitive Behavioral Specialist to join our growing primary care family. Cognitive Behavioral Specialists (CBS) play a crucial role on our interdisciplinary care teams, addressing the behavioral and emotional needs of patients living with anxiety, depression, and cognitive decline—including dementia and mild cognitive impairment. CBSs ensure a holistic approach by coordinating behavioral interventions with medical treatment, supporting caregivers, and helping patients achieve improved quality of life.
QualificationsEducation & Experience
:
- Minimum 5 years of experience working with individuals with dementia or cognitive impairments
- Actively enrolled or willing to enroll in the Your Health Dementia Apprenticeship Program
- Certification in dementia care (or actively pursuing certification) preferred
- Familiarity with behavioral health medications commonly used in this population
Preferred Backgrounds
:
- Experience in roles such as Activities Director for dementia units, CNA, MA, Nurse, or other direct care staff in memory care or geriatrics
- Clinical background not required but considered beneficia
