*** Day in the Life of a Pharmacy Technician
**** Write patients name, dose, and number of takeout on corresponding patient’s signature log and on proper log (liquid of tablets)
* Review each patient’s flags prior to dosing
* Ensure accuracy of patient’s dose be verifying against “dose level” and flags.
* Ensure each patient signs log prior to dosing
* Check confirm digital photograph in Methasoft software matches patient
* Security of Methadone at dosing window
* Enforce “lock box” policy
* Enforce and check for patient names and dates on returned bottles from previous dosing
* Ensure adequate ordering of pharmacy supplies
* Maintain cleanliness and organization of pharmacy and supplies
* Utilize appropriate sink for cleaning of pharmacy dispensing equipment and alert Director when
* Leaving “secure” area with dispensing equipment
* Ensure smooth workflow#
*** Education and Experience requirements***
* ** At minimum, High School Diploma or GED
** required.
* Pharmacy Technician certification required#
********* Hours and Schedule
*** 20 hours a week
* Monday-Friday; 7:00am-11:00amSchedule is subject to change depending on Pharmacist availability.#
