Lead State Certified Pharmacy Tech - FT (Florence, SC)

Pay: Hourly, Pay Grade Health-22, Scheduled 40 hours weekly.
Reports to: Pharmacy Manager and pharmacist(s)
In partnership with the Pharmacy Manager, the Lead Pharmacy Technician supervises the facility’s pharmacy technician staff. Responsibilities include personnel management, performance management, payroll monitoring, scheduling, training, and compliance. The lead will have one administrative day per week for these duties, in addition to regular staffing responsibilities.
Job duties also include all standard pharmacy technician tasks: assisting in medication preparation and distribution; maintaining drug inventories, re‑stocking automated dispensing cabinets, drug packaging/re‑packaging, extemporaneous compounding, code cart re‑stock, etc.; and completing patient records related to drug therapy, including aminoglycoside protocol orders, drug charges & credits.
- Education: High school diploma or equivalent (GED)
- Experience: Preferred five or more years in a hospital or health system pharmacy
- Licensure: Pharmacy Technician State Certification in South Carolina required
