Inpatient Chemo Pharmacy Technician/FT (Florence, SC)

Join the team as a state‑certified pharmacy technician for inpatient chemotherapy services at MUSC Health Florence Medical Center. This full‑time position requires direct supervision of pharmacists and involves medication preparation, inventory management, and patient record completion.

• Prepare and distribute all medication doses, including chemotherapy.
• Maintain drug inventories – restocking automated dispensing cabinets, packaging/re‑packaging, extemporaneous compounding, and code cart re‑stock.
• Complete patient records pertaining to drug therapy (e.g., aminoglycoside protocol orders, drug charges, and credits).
• Assist pharmacists with inventory accuracy and documentation.

• High School Diploma required; college courses desirable.
• Successful completion of a certified pharmacy technician training program.
• State Certified Pharmacy Technician (PTE) licensure.
• Preferred: two or more years of experience in a hospital or health system.
