Windchill PLM Enterprise Solution Architect

The Windchill PLM Enterprise Solution Architect is responsible for defining, designing, and governing enterprise-scale Product Lifecycle Management solutions using the PTC Windchill platform. The role leads PLM transformation initiatives spanning solution architecture, cloud migration, integrations, data migration, performance, security, and technical governance across the product development lifecycle.

The architect collaborates with business stakeholders, engineering teams, IT leadership, and implementation partners to deliver scalable, secure, supportable, and high-performing PLM capabilities aligned with enterprise objectives

• Windchill PDMLink, MPMLink, Project Link, Parts Management, Document Management, Change Management, BOM Management, workflow, lifecycle, classification, and access control.

• Java/J2EE, Windchill customization, Info
  * Engine, REST APIs, SOAP services, SQL, Oracle or PostgreSQL, Apache, and Tomcat.

• AWS or Microsoft Azure architecture, Docker, Kubernetes, infrastructure as code, automated deployment, CI/CD, monitoring, and operational readiness.
• SAP or Oracle integration, Boomi or Mule Soft, Thing Worx, API management, identity management, SSO, LDAP, and Active Directory.
• Enterprise architecture, solution patterns, non-functional requirements, security architecture, capacity planning, risk management, and technical governance.

• PTC Windchill certification or equivalent demonstrated expertise.

• AWS Certified Solutions Architect or Microsoft Certified:
  Azure Solutions Architect Expert.
• TOGAF, SAFe Architect, or comparable architecture certification.
• PMP or equivalent delivery certification is preferred.

• Strategic thinking and strong analytical problem-solving.
• Executive stakeholder management and customer-facing consulting.
• Clear written, verbal, and presentation communication.
• Leadership, mentoring, influencing, and cross-functional collaboration.
• Ability to translate business requirements into pragmatic architecture decisions.
• Enterprise PLM architecture blueprints and roadmaps.
• Solution Design Documents and technical specifications.
• Infrastructure, security, integration, and deployment architecture documents.
• Data migration strategy, validation approach, and cutover plan.
• Performance, scalability, availability, and disaster recovery assessments.
• Technical governance framework, standards, and reusable design patterns.
• Implementation roadmap, estimates, assumptions, dependencies, and risks.

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Master's degree is preferred.

• 12+ years of overall IT experience.
• 8+ years of hands-on Windchill implementation experience.
• 5+ years in solution architecture or enterprise architecture roles.
• Demonstrated experience delivering global PLM transformation or modernization programs.
