Operations Technician

NEXHR is working with a leading industrial gases company seeking an Industrial Gas Plant Technician to support the safe, reliable and efficient operation of production facilities supplying oxygen, nitrogen and argon to customers 24/7.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone with an industrial, process plant, cryogenics or military technical background who enjoys hands‑on operations, troubleshooting and maintenance.

• Monitor plant performance, production systems and equipment to maintain safe, efficient and reliable operations.
• Conduct routine plant inspections, record operating data and identify issues requiring corrective action.
• Support quality control activities, ensuring compliance with FDA requirements, cGMP and internal quality management systems.
• Operate and calibrate process analysers, gas chromatographs and other testing equipment.
• Carry out planned maintenance, basic repairs and equipment adjustments.
• Interpret P&IDs, technical drawings, equipment manuals and operating procedures.
• Maintain accurate operational records and complete required training.
• Provide technical support to other plant locations when required.

• High School Diploma or GED; technical qualifications or an associate degree preferred.
• Experience in industrial gases, cryogenics, process manufacturing, industrial maintenance or a relevant military technical role.
• Practical mechanical skills and confidence using hand tools.
• Ability to work independently, troubleshoot problems and follow strict safety procedures.
• Willingness to work rotating 12-hour shifts, including nights, weekends and holidays, with overtime and shared on-call duties.
• Ability to work safely at heights of up to 200 feet and lift up to 50 lbs.
