American Traveler is hiring an experienced ER RN for a free-standing Emergency and Urgent Care facility, requiring 2+ years of ER experience and Epic proficiency.

• Free-standing Emergency and Urgent Care facility with 12 staffed beds
• Begins assignment at the main hospital ER for approximately 2 weeks before transitioning to the free-standing ER/UC site
• 3x12-hour day shifts, 7a-7p, Sunday-Saturday based on need
• Weekend rotation required
• No on-call requirements
• No floating required
• Uses Epic EMR

• Active SC or Multi-State/Compact RN license required
• Minimum 2 years of ER nursing experience required
• Required certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS, NIHSS (AHA only)
• Preferred certifications: CPI, TNCC
• Epic EMR experience required
• SSN required for consideration

• Provide direct patient care in a fast-paced emergency and urgent care setting
• Royal blue scrubs required
• Free parking available on site
• Candidates may be assigned to emergency response teams during hurricane season (June-November)
• Must complete approximately 4 hours of pre-start training modules
• First-time travelers considered if they have ER experience
• Previous MUSC perm or PRN staff must be separated from the system for 1 year before returning as a traveler
• Must live outside a 60-mile radius to be considered at the standard travel rate; local candidates considered at a reduced rate
• Block scheduling requests may be submitted but are not guaranteed
• All requested time off must be submitted at time of application for consideration
