American Traveler is hiring an experienced Emergency Department RN for a free-standing ER and urgent care facility, requiring 2+ years of ER experience and Epic proficiency.
Requirements- Active SC or Multi-State/Compact RN license required
- Current AHA certifications required: BLS, ACLS, PALS, and NIHSS
- CPI and TNCC certifications preferred
- Minimum 2 years of emergency room nursing experience required
- Epic EMR experience required
- First-time travelers accepted provided they have ER experience
- Work in a free-standing Emergency and Urgent Care facility with 12 staffed beds
- Begin the contract at a hospital ER for approximately 2 weeks before transitioning to the free-standing ER/Urgent Care facility
- Night shift schedule of 3x12 hours (7p-7a), Sunday through Saturday depending on facility needs
- Weekend shifts required
- No on-call responsibilities
- No floating required
- Uses Epic charting system
- Provide emergency department nursing care in a fast-paced free-standing ER and urgent care setting
- Royal blue scrubs required
- Candidates must reside outside a 60-mile radius of the facility to be considered; local candidates not accepted
- Previous MUSC perm or PRN staff must be separated from the system for 1 year before returning as a traveler
- All requested time off must be submitted at the time of consideration, with approval based on facility needs
- During hurricane season (June through November), staff may be assigned to emergency response teams
