Electrician/ Electrician Installation, Installation Technician
The electrician installs, maintains, and repairs electrical systems in commercial, industrial and healthcare facilities.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities- Accurately install wire, conduit, panel boards, fixtures, devices, pre-fab assemblies, boxes, and breakers according to job specifications and NEC.
- Directly work with other electricians and helpers as part of a team.
- Install electrical distribution and automation equipment: switch gear, panels, transformers, PLC control cabinets and VFD’s.
- Proficient with circuitry of the trade to include power, control, and motor terminations.
- Bend conduit by hand and with benders.
- Capable of digging trenches, either by use of hand tools or power equipment.
These duties and responsibilities are not all-inclusive and may change to meet the priorities and ongoing needs of the company.
Qualifications and Requirements- To perform the job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.
- Requires the ability to read and understand instructions, procedures, labels, and gauges.
- Accurately perform basic math calculations to include addition, subtraction, fractions, decimals, multiplication, division, and the use of measurements.
- Ability to communicate effectively (written, verbal and nonverbal).
- Requires self‑motivation, organization, and prioritization management.
- Proficient knowledge of OSHA standards and guidelines.
- High School Diploma or equivalent is required, but a technical degree or 1‑3 years of experience or combination of education and/or experience is preferred.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk or hear. The employee is frequently required to stand; walk; climb; lift and carry up to 60 lbs, crawl, kneel, push and reach;
use hands to fingers, handle, and feel.
In performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently exposed to fumes or airborne particles, moving mechanical parts and vibration. The employee is occasionally exposed to a variety of extreme conditions at construction job sites. The noise level in the work environment and job sites can be loud. This position is performed in outside weather conditions.
