Job Description
Job Summary: The Child Care Giver provides and maintains a developmentally appropriate and safe environment for the children in his/her care.
Provides primary care to assigned children & follows continuity of care model.
Follows and implements lesson plans prepared by lead caregiver/teacher.
Creates and completes developmental screenings and portfolios.
Participates in a minimum of 20 hours of ECE training each calendar year.
Operates a vehicle when needed.
Other duties as assigned.
Work Schedule: 80 hours, Bi-weekly
Qualifications:
- Preferred six months experience working with children in a licensed or approved facility.
- Basic computer skills and familiarity with Microsoft Office.
Education: High school diploma/GED required.
Licenses/Certifications:
- Preferred SC Child Care Credential or the equivalent from another state, a minimum of 12 hours of ECE from an accredited college or technical school or a CDA.
- CPR and First Aid certification obtained within 30 days of hire.
Degrees: High School Diploma/GED
