Senior Electrical Estimator

NJ Electrical Contractor is looking for a Senior Electrical Estimator that has 10 years + experience. Preferable experience in union, healthcare and large commercial building experience..Data Centers , High rise, Mid Rise

• Analyze blueprints, specifications, proposals, and other documentation to prepare time, cost, and labor estimates.
• Develop detailed electrical estimates for commercial, industrial, and specialized sectors including Healthcare and Mission Critical Data Centers.
• Evaluate subcontractor and supplier quotes to ensure accuracy and competitiveness.
• Collaborate with project teams to review scope, schedule, and budget requirements.
• Maintain and update historical cost data and estimating tools.
• Participate in bid reviews and presentations with clients and stakeholders.
• Identify cost-saving opportunities and value engineering options.
• Ensure compliance with local codes, safety standards, and industry best practices.

• Minimum of 7 years of experience in electrical estimating, preferably in a senior or lead role.
• Proficiency in Accu Bid and Live Count software is required.
• Proven experience estimating projects in Healthcare and Mission Critical Data Center environments.
• Must have experience in the New York and New Jersey market.
• Strong knowledge of electrical systems, construction methods, and materials.
• Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.
• Degree or certification in Electrical Engineering, Construction Management, or related field preferred.
• Must be able to report to our Florham Park, NJ office.

• Salary up to $140k
• $5k relocation assistance provided for anyone who is willing to relocate to NJ.
