We are looking for an Engineer to address our growing need to develop new products and provide upgrades to customer installed base. The position is in Florham Park, NJ, and reports to the Electrical Engineering Manager.

Required Qualifications
  • Associates Degree in Electrical Engineering/Electronics/Mechanical Engineering or Automation or equivalent military experience
  • 1-3 years of technical hands-on experience in an electromechanical environment
  • Experience designing electrical circuits using OrCAD
  • Ability to effectively use Microsoft Outlook, Word. Excel, and Power Point
  • Experience with various types of test equipment such as volt meters, oscilloscopes, and PLCs
Desired Qualifications
  • Experience designing 3 Phase HV (380-480V) power circuits
  • Familiarity with AutoCAD or Solid Works
  • Experience with industrial automation
  • Experience with Semiconductor Manufacturing or Electronics Manufacturing industries
  • Experience with industrial standards such as CE or NFPA
    79, and working with regulatory agencies and certification labs
  • Experience using various types of metal working tools such as Drill press, milling machine, and bending brake
Responsibilities
  • Design the electrical circuits required to power and control new company systems
  • Design retrofit kits for existing systems
  • Select and specify electrical components
  • Specify the design requirements of electrical cabinets
  • Support the resolution of electrical issues in systems in production
  • Facilitate Returned goods analysis
  • Focal point for Field Service Escalations
  • Install oven retrofits at customer sites in North America.
  • Assemble/build and test engineering prototypes.
  • Generate detailed test reports.
  • Generate new P/Ns and BOMs in system, release and generate ECN’s.
  • Pre-check retrofit kits before shipping them to customers.
  • Generate engineering documentation as needed.
  • Provide remote and on-site expert level support to customer tools.
  • Work with certification agencies to verify compliance with industry standards.
