POST-DOCTORAL PHARMACEUTICAL INDUSTRY FELLOWSHIP – Rutgers, The State University of New Jersey, Ernest Mario School of Pharmacy, has over 40 years of expertise in offering innovative Post-Doctoral Pharm.
D. Fellowships that provide extensive training in the pharmaceutical and biopharmaceutical industry. This 2-year Fellowship position is a joint effort between the Rutgers Institute for Pharmaceutical Industry Fellowships (RPIF) and Shionogi
. Program emphasis is in both U.S. Medical Affairs Rare Disease and U.S. Market Access
. This 2-year Fellowship provides a unique opportunity to develop a comprehensive skillset across both U.S. Medical Affairs and U.S. Market Access
.
In their 1 year with the U.S. Market Access team, the Fellow will have the opportunity to gain an understanding of the key policies impacting the pharmaceutical industry, participate in the development and execution of a real-world evidence study, contribute to the development of an integrated evidence plan, and support payer-focused field teams. In their 1 year with the U.S. Medical Affairs Rare Disease team, the Fellow will contribute to various core medical affairs initiatives including supporting the development of medical strategies, creating educational resources, partnering with external stakeholders including clinicians and patient advocacy groups, and participating in advisory boards.
Working with empowering leaders within a supportive Fellowship infrastructure, the Fellow will obtain valuable experiences that will prepare them for the next stage of their career.
University-based experiences complement the industry experiences and include a Professional Development Series; opportunities for collaborative research, publication, and teaching; and participating/leading Rutgers Fellowship committees. These Fellowships provide a broad professional development opportunity in both corporate and academic environments to promote the role of Pharm.
