** About the role

* Position Summary:

** As the Senior Manager, IT Security & Risk Management at Reworld Waste, you will play a critical role in safeguarding our digital infrastructure and ensuring compliance with industry regulations. You will lead the development and execution of security strategies that protect sensitive data, maintain operational continuity, and support our sustainability-driven business objectives.

* Key Responsibilities:

* ** Strategic Leadership:**  + Develop and implement Reworld Waste’s IT security and risk management strategy aligned with corporate goals.  + Establish governance frameworks, policies, and standards for cybersecurity and risk management.
* *
* Risk Management:

**  + Conduct enterprise-wide risk assessments and implement mitigation strategies.  + Monitor emerging threats and proactively address vulnerabilities.
* ** Security Operations:**  + Oversee incident response, threat detection, and vulnerability management programs.  + Ensure timely resolution of security incidents and continuous improvement of security posture.
* ** Compliance & Audit:**  + Maintain compliance with relevant regulations (e.g., NIST, SOX, environmental industry standards).  + Lead internal and external audits related to IT security and risk management.
* ** Team Leadership:**  + Promote a culture of cybersecurity awareness across Reworld Waste.
* ** Vendor & Technology Management:**  + Evaluate and manage security technologies and third-party vendors.  + Stay ahead of industry trends and recommend innovative solutions.

* Education & Experience:

*** Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or related field (Master’s preferred).
* 8+ years of experience in IT security
* Proven experience in risk management and security governance within complex organizations.
* CISSP, CISM, CRISC, or equivalent certifications strongly preferred.
* Expertise in cybersecurity frameworks, risk assessment methodologies, and regulatory compliance.
* Strong leadership, communication, and stakeholder engagement skills.

The pay ranges are reviewed from time to time and may be modified in the future. Some roles may be eligible for discretionary bonuses or additional incentives. The pay range for the primary location of this position is: $ (min) -  (max) per year.

The pay offered is based on factors like relevant experience, education, qualifications, certifications, skills, location, performance, internal equity, union contract (if applicable), work schedule, travel, and business needs. In addition to salary, this role is eligible for benefits.
