First Shift: 6:00 AM – 2:00 PM Second Shift: 2:00 PM – 10:00 PM (shift differential applies).
Responsibilities- Operate assigned machinery and continually work to improve production standards.
- Maintain product output while ensuring all safety and quality control standards are met.
- Responsible for industrial tools, equipment and maintenance of machinery.
- Set up, operate and take down all operations on assigned machines.
- Capable of troubleshooting a machine and making adjustments.
- Contribute to a team atmosphere and assist others when required or necessary.
- Must be 18 + years old.
- Validate customers’ requirements.
- Maintain a safe, clean and organized work environment.
- Education: High School Diploma and basic mathematical and computer skills required.
- Experience: Minimum of 1–3 years as a Machine Operator (CNC, Machinist, Extruder, etc.) and experience in a process‑focused manufacturing center preferred.
- Experience interpreting specification sheets and job instructions.
- Prior use of micrometers and calipers required.
- Training in a process‑focused manufacturing environment related to finished products or wire and cable production is preferred.
The job may entail operating within confined spaces, requiring precision and adaptability. Candidates must navigate tight quarters efficiently while maintaining a focus on safety and task execution. Employees are regularly required to stand up to 80% of the shift, occasionally sit, climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl, and are required to maneuver, move, push and lift up to 80 pounds.

Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
Ability to write routine reports and correspondence.
Ability to speak effectively before groups of employees. Proficiency in the English language, verbal and written.
Compensation & BenefitsThe hourly rate for this role ranges from $25.00 per hour (paid weekly) plus participation in LAPP's bonus plan.
