* * ASM, the leader in privately managed public assembly facilities, has an excellent and immediate opening for the Accounting Supervisor for ASM/Jacksonville. Responsible for performing general accounting functions, financial reporting and analysis, event settlements, supervise A/R and A/P processing, payroll processing, audit assistance, monthly/year-end close processing as well as other various accounting tasks. The Accounting Supervisor works closely with the Accounting Manager and Director of Finance and supports with any projects as necessary.
** Essential Duties and Responsibilities
*** Performs day-to-day accounting activities so that general ledger activity, trial balance, and key account reconciliations are adequately prepared and monitored. Reviews daily cash deposits and reconciliations of cash transactions to the bank vs ledger, including the box office's monetary activity of Ticketmaster and credit cards.
* Support with the preparation and review of month/year end closings in order to adhere to tight deadlines.
* Assists in the preparation of financial packages when requested, including income statement, balance sheet, account reconciliations, budgets and other ad-hoc reporting.
* Prepares settlement journal entries and reconciles ticket receipts per the general ledger vs ticketing audits.
* Tracks expenses and revenues for each event so that each department is provided with a budget vs actual variance following each event.
* Prepares audit schedules and supplies support in order to promptly respond to requests by the audit team.
* Prepares required Financial Package of Account Reconciliations.
* Other duties may be assigned.

** Education and/or Experience
*** S. in Accounting or Finance from a four-year college or university
* 2 to 3 years related experience and/or training
* Or equivalent combination of education and experience
* Must have advanced PC skills (MS Outlook, Excel, Word)
* Thorough understanding of accounting principles and ability to handle all aspects of the accounting cycle
* Strong attention to detail and high accuracy rate is a must
* Strong customer service and able to interact in a professional manner with various functions and levels within the organization
* Must be able to work with minimal supervision and able to preserve confidentiality of all data
* Must be able to communicate with technical and non-technical users
* Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment and able to multi-task
* Must be able to work nights, weekends, and holidays as needed
* Experience with Peachtree/Sage accounting systems or similar accounting software (preferred)
* Experience with in the venue management industry (preferred)

Description We are looking for consultant to assist our client in the development of the RFP package for a SaaS/Paas IT Solution, California Department of Technology (CDT) Project Approval Lifecycle (PAL) Stage 3 Solution Development (S3SD) deliverables, and Stage 4 Project.
Qualifications Ten (10) years of broad, extensive, and increasingly responsible PM project experience applying project management (PM) principles, methods, techniques, and tools. At least four (4) years of that experience must have been in a lead capacity.
Five (5) years of project management experience working on engagements similar in scope and complexity.
