Accounting Coordinator - part time

The beautiful Sundial Beach Resort located on Sanibel Island, Florida is seeking a part‑time Accounting Coordinator to join our team!

• Process accounts payable invoices.
• Handle receipts and coding for the purchasing card.
• Ensure that vendor statements are reconciled monthly.
• Assist with weekly and periodic check runs by matching the invoices with the checks.
• Assist with processing payroll.
• Record monthly journal entries as requested.
• Verify daily cash drops.
• Prepare cash deposits and checks into the bank.
• Monitor and process petty cash and cash over and short.
• Ship retail items.
• Audit the safe monthly.
• Assist in inventory count.
• Perform monthly audits of all employee cash banks.
• Upkeep and storage of accounting documents.
• Perform other duties and projects assigned by the Controller.

• High School Diploma required.
• Minimum of two (2) years of accounts receivable and payable experience, preferably in the hospitality and/or restaurant field.
• Working knowledge of manual and automated accounting systems.
• Well‑developed administrative skills, with proven ability to assist other staff members with questions and problems.
• Well organised with strong multitasking skills.
