Tallahassee Memorial Health Care (TMH) is a private, nonprofit community‑based health system serving a 22‑county region in North Florida and South Georgia. As a Fiscal Assistant III, you will process invoices, prepare checks, manage vendor files, and support auditors and team members in a high‑volume accounting environment.

Process invoices for payment; prepare checks for disbursement; communicate, research, and solve problems with vendors and departments; assist auditors with information gathering; maintain accurate vendor files; assist in training new team members.

• Education: Minimum: high school diploma or equivalent.
• Preferred Education: High school diploma or equivalent and at least two college‑level accounting courses.
• Experience: Minimum: two (2) years accounting background, including spreadsheet and word‑processing experience.
• Preferred Experience: Three (3) to four (4) years of accounts payable with purchase order experience.
• Skills: Effective communication (in‑person and telephone), good math skills, excellent problem‑solving abilities.
• Software: Lawson experience preferred.

Reports to:

AP Supervisor. No direct reports.
